A faulty update was added to its programming. Its behavior is noticeably
strange, so the experiment may have been a failure.

Valentine's Day is here. For the past few days, I have been greatly apprehensive, as in my home dimension, it is not a holiday I enjoy or partake in--at least, not in a traditional sense. Thus, I was...somewhat worried on whether my efforts would be seen as successful or not. Upon waking up,
Venkman gifted both Ray and I
different Pokémon, with Ray receiving a Cubone and I this Porygon. It is an absolutely stunning creation and I greatly look forward to studying it further in depth. Its construction seems to mimic a computer-generated 3D graphic, and it acts as an artificial simulated creature would. Despite the differing dimensions, today I feel nothing but unending adoration and appreciation for both Ray and Peter.

While researching the evolutionary methods of Pokémon on the public network, I came across a forum describing how Porygon are evolved through "upgrades", or by improving upon their pre-existing code with a physical disc. Essentially, implementing a "patch" to modernize them and have them exist in a manner that is more suited for daily life. I have been carrying around an upgrade disc ever since I left Goldenrod, but I have never found the time to actually test it. Today, I have decided to install the disc's contents onto Q*Bert, and to my delight, they became much sleeker in design and their AI system was overall more responsive, as it had been optimized. They still have trouble recognizing the limits of which they can continue to ambulate, and frequently get "stuck" in corners and while passing over small objects.

To commemorate Q*bert reaching the maximum level, I decided to reward them by downloading additional software that would add more functionality. However, it seems that this software is somewhat...buggy. They have been acting erratically ever since the new software was patched in, and I hope to be able to amend this soon.
