[The Sandygast holds eye contact with Egon for an uncomfortably long time. Slowly, it shuffles forward to press one of its sand mounds against the palm of Egon's hand- like the iconic scene from HTTYD, but it's a fucking sand castle and not a dragon's face. It does not stab Egon with the knife, though it doesn't drop it, either.

Sigourney, meanwhile, sends over snippets of her own memories- of Kildarby "talking" with her(though Venkman can't understand what's being said), building the castle, the Sandygast coming to life- and Venkman jerks back, somewhat in shock.]

You brought sand to life?

[If Egon could, he would scoop this baby Sandygast into his arms right now. He allows the Sandygast to say in his hand for a few moments before gently moving his hand away. All the while, Egon maintains eye(?) contact with the mound.

After a few more moments of silence, he turns back to face Venkman and Ray, his eyes glinting with excitement. He looks just a tad unhinged, what with having been soaked to the bone, conked over the head with a Shuckle, and...you know, being approached by a literal ghost sand castle with a knife.]

We have to keep it for further study.
