Denver | Lapras

Denver | Lapras
Its high intelligence enables it to comprehend human speech.
When it's in a good mood, it sings in its beautiful voice.

January 2, 2019 - I have recently discovered the existence of a Pokémon called "Lapras". Its appearance is similar to a plesiosaur with a shell on its back, almost like the famed Loch Ness Monster. Apparently, people have trained Lapras to ride them across large bodies of water. As I am interested in the development of such a creature, I have asked Botan for a Lapras egg and will be carefully monitoring its growth.
January 21, 2019 - I was unfortunately arrested on the day that the egg was due to hatch, but I have requested Ray to record any and all information on its hatching. When I returned from the police station, Peter and Ray had somehow been victims of complete neural transferal. Apparently, while I was away, Ray had named the Lapras "Denver" for some inane reason. Once I was able to recover from the initial shock and sit down with Ray's notes, it became clear that the Lapras emerged from the egg fully mature--which means that it was eight feet tall upon being born, which would be physically impossible with the egg being a foot tall. This provides yet more evidence that these Pokémon are not entirely organic beings that we are accustomed to seeing in my dimension--rather, containers of some sort of energy that allows them to spontaneously transform based on various circumstances. I will have to study this creature more closely, preferably in an aquatic environment.
