I am quite envious of the fact that many individuals have existed in worlds where magic is so abundant prior to their arrival here. It took several years to even prove that the paranormal existed in our world, and even after presenting the research we had done regarding parapsychology, many dismissed us as frauds or charlatans.
I tried dabbling in necromancy, once. It didn't go particularly well.
