[Egon is in the middle of scribbling down a series of observations in a small notebook when Ray approaches him, and he turns to stare at his partner. He raises a singular eyebrow as he studies Ray for a moment.]

This area is known for its frequent meteor impacts and other atmospheric phenomena, such as space trash entering the atmosphere. This is likely attributed to its high elevation as well as relative distance from surrounding cities, making it easier to observe such phenomena. The meteors that fall here are known as moonstones, thus the name of the mountain. Based on their name, one might assume these are fragments of rock that have split off from the moon and entered our atmosphere, though I find no evidence of this being true.

[He adjusts his glasses.]

This cave is also rather popular with local fossil hunters. Why do you ask?
